Dalai Lama visits UL

The Power of Forgiveness by the Dalai Lama, 14th April 2011, University of Limerick - full video footage now available online www.ul.ie/dalailama

An audience of over 3,100 people  attended  the address by His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama entitled 'The Power of Forgiveness'  at the University of Limerick on the final day of his three-day visit to Ireland. 

The two-hour event at UL, including music presented by the Ritual Chant Programme at the Irish World Academy, University of Limerick, featuring the children's choir selected from the Irish Chamber Orchestra Youth Chorus, including children from schools in Limerick's Regeneration communities. 

In order to bring the Public Address by His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the University of Limerick (UL) to as wide an audience as possible, event organisers at UL arranged for the entire event be streamed live across the internet which reached in the region of 7,000 viewers to date.  For further information contact: dalailama@ul.ie
