Irish Open Softball Tournament, August 2011

The 22nd Irish Open Softball Tournament took place at the University of Limerick Conference and Sports Campus this year. Over 18 softball teams participated in the games with players travelling from as far as South Africa, Dubai and America to participate in the event. The annual Cup competition was won by the Munster team for the first time in history and the Bow Cup was won by the Galway Tribes this year. The University of Limerick Conference and Sports Office wishes the teams well for their future competitions.
