University of Limerick will host the Special Olympics in 2014

It has been decided that the University of Limerick will once again play host the fantastic Special Olympics Games in 2014. Two years ago over 1,800 athletes and 500 of the coaching team and volunteers joined us on campus for a very successful games. The campus played host to 7 of the 13 sports events with all others taking place in Limerick and throughout the region. We look forward to having all of the athletes, their families and supporters back in the region for what we hope will be an even better games. www.specialolympics.ie
