Millfield Senior School's rugby team arrived in UL for their pre-season training camp from 15th-20th August.

60 of Millfield's finest underage players took part in an intensive programme over the few days, taking full advantage of the first class training facilities that UL has to offer.

Former English Rugby Union player and Millfield head coach, John Mallet, was there to offer up experience gained from three Guinness Premiership titles, three Anglo-Welsh titles and a Heineken Cup title.

The team stayed in Cappavilla Village, one of our on-campus residences, and were catered for by three of our on campus restaurants, The Paddocks, The Pavillion and the Sports Bar.

It was a pleasure to have the team on campus with us and we would like to wish Millfield the best of luck in the coming season.
