International Conference on Managing Projects in the Non-Profit Sector at the Kemmy Business School, October 20th and 21st

As part of its committment to the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (UN PRME), the Kemmy Business School's Centre for Project Management will host an International Conference on Managing Projects in the Non-Profit Sector on 20th and 21st October 2014. The conference theme is DELIVERING SOCIAL GOOD.
Areas covered include international aid, development, healthcare, education, environmental protection, human rights, community development, arts and culture. In each of these areas, non-profit organisations are campaigning for change all around the world.
The conference will explore diverse stakeholder perspectives and share examples of project management practices in the sector.
Key objectives of the conference are to develop a network of project management practitioners and academics working in the sector, to explore how cross-sectoral collaberations can help non-profit organistaions to achieve their objectives, and to develop opportunities for future collaboration between practitioners and academics.
The two day conference will consist of a range of topics that will be of interest to academics and staff/volunteers in non-profit organisations.
